AUDIO: MUSLIM CONGRESSMAN CALLS FOR CRISIS

Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Congress is also a member of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). In fact, he's one of the super majority of its members who is a registered socialist. He, like the only registered socialist in the Senate - Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is unwilling to accept Obama's compromise on the tax rate extensions in return for another year of unemployment benefits. So what does Ellison want to break the impasse? Apparently a 'Crisis.'

While appearing on (ahem) NPR in Minnesota, Ellison called for just that. Via Breitbart:

Another point Ellison tried to make in that video is that the rich people who will see their tax rates remain the same don't just buy yachts; they also buy congressmen. That's quite interesting when one considers where Ellison got much of his campaign moneyin 2006 - from the CAIR-Hamas-Saudi Arabia connection. Pathetic.

Oh, here's that list of 70 Congressmen who are also registered socialists. That means Ellison is a socialist Muslim.

VIDEO: THE NAVY'S GAME CHANGER - RAILGUN

This provides some much needed reassurance in light of the increased insanity going on in the world these days. The navy has released video of its new weapon - the Railgun - and it is very impressive. It uses electro-magnetic energy to fire projectiles that don't even need to explode on impact because they're moving so fast. It's the speed of the projectiles that does all the damage. Additionally, the damage is done much faster. Some reach Mach 7.

Via Fox News:
A theoretical dream for decades, the railgun is unlike any other weapon used in warfare. And it's quite real too, as the U.S. Navy has proven in a record-setting test today in Dahlgren, VA.

Rather than relying on a explosion to fire a projectile, the technology uses an electomagnetic current to accelerate a non-explosive bullet at several times the speed of sound. The conductive projectile zips along a set of electrically charged parallel rails and out of the barrel at speeds up to Mach 7.

The result: a weapon that can hit a target 100 miles or more away within minutes.

"It's an over-used term, but it really changes several games," Rear Admiral Nevin P. Carr, Jr., the chief of Naval Research, told FoxNews.com prior to the test.
I particularly like the part about akin to a car hitting a wall at 100 mph and then multiply that by 33.

VIDEO: RACIST CUP CAKES

Duncan Hines had to pull an ad for its new cupcake glazing product because it offended some black groups as being racist. You'll note at the end of the commercial, however, that white groups with the same level of hypersensitivity would have a case that it portrayed them as being completely unable to carry a tune. Stereotypes for both groups were used in this spot. I think it says quite a bit that one group was offended and one wasn't.

VIa New York Daily News:
Cupcakes aren't tasting so sweet for some Duncan Hines marketing execs who were forced to pull a video for their "Amazing Glazes" frosting line after viewers and bloggers complained the dancing cupcakes were racist.

The commercial, which features chocolate-frosted cupcakes singing a harmony, was released on YouTube with the title "Hip Hop". Along with that title, the cupcakes featured exaggerated lips and eyes and more hummed a melody – that was decidedly un-hip hop.
The spot, while pulled by Duncan Hines, is on YouTube.

For some reason the reaction to the racist cupcakes is reminiscent of Dallas County commissioner John Wiley Price's reaction to a "Black hole" analogy used by one of his white colleagues.

SHOCKING VIDEO: OBAMA LEAVES, LET'S BILL CLINTON FINISH TAX RATE PRESSER

The visual imagery is shockingly stunning. The fact that Bill Clinton was brought in to address the White House press corps. at all was mildly awkward by itself but the optics of president 44 leaving the aged president 42 to handle tough questions about the current White House agenda relative to the tax rate compromise, so he could attend a Christmas Party just says so much. It communicates a president not equipped to handle the job.

At this level, perception is critical and this was a bad scene.
